Especially the one used to illustrate "gameplay." It'd be a mess to try to set that up in-game, involving cheats and then watching the game run into routing issues and all kinds of stuff. Look at the official renders for Eco Lifestyle. It's all fake to look better than it does in-game.Įven today.

Candy's hair is awful, those boots are insanely huge, Eva's stand-in here is so wrong that I don't have any clue what they were doing. Of course, the second you load the game, you'll see it's not accurate. So you have four completely fake Sims on the cover of Get Together, but the fake render is designed to look like the game art. Paolo's not that off looking here, but enough that I had to do a double take because he is off here. Heck, Candy's shoes look less chunky than they do in-game. Her boots look a lot better here than in-game. Those shorts that Morgan's wearing aren't too bad in-game, but definitely not what's shown here. even if you lose all her weight and/or buff her up, her face stays round, which ends up looking kind of weird).

Eva here is a lot slimmer than in the game and doesn't have the round face she has in the game (she's actually designed with a round face. Candy's hair doesn't look like that and I don't think even her face or body is quite that shape. But then you can also tell they pretty much all look wrong. Now, assuming you've actually played Sims 4 and have that expansion, you should be able to name the characters roughly on their looks. Well, since you wanted to open this can of worms and try to pretend Sims 4 doesn't still do this, let's look at the cover of Get Together.
